A Newport Beach medical center is using cancer tumors therapy to a different degree, compliment of a $9 million contribution from a best-selling Orange County writer.
Dean Koontz along with his spouse, Gerda, have committed the contribution to Hoag Hospital for the acquisition associated with world’s first ever MRI-guided radiation therapy system, allowing oncologists to reside flow a tumor or any other target for radiation and surrounding organs in real-time.
